David P. Clark, Owner/Operator/Funeral Director and Embalmer
Being in the funeral profession for 35 years in Versailles and Frankfort, David is now the founder of the newest concept in funeral service…Clark Legacy Center. David is committed to the people of Central Kentucky and strives to help families remember a life more ways than they can imagine. David takes care to ensure that the final event truly reflects the cherished life of a family member. He is a third generation Funeral Director and Embalmer licensed in the state of Kentucky. David and his wife Julie have four children, Leigh Clark McCauley, Guy, Tyler, Linzi Clark, and one grandson, Ridge McCauley.
Julie L. Clark, Owner/Operator
After being a full time mom and raising our four children, Julie is now specializing in tailoring services for each individual family, helping them in planning their special tributes and receptions. She is assisting families in the selection of a variety of food and beverage choices, planning their life story DVD, or just sharing ideas on how to make their event truly unique.
Guy S. Clark, Funeral Director/Business Manager
Guy is a fourth generation funeral director licensed in Kentucky and is the business manager for our locations in Lexington/Nicholasville, Versailles and Frankfort. Guy is a graduate of Woodford County High School and the University of Kentucky. Guy is the son of Julie and David Clark and resides in Lexington.
Linzi Clark Said, Funeral Director
Linzi became a fourth generation licensed funeral director in 2007. She is a graduate of Woodford County High School, spent time studying at the University of Kentucky and is a graduate of Barrett and Company School of Hair Design, earning a Master Hair Stylist degree. Linzi is the daughter of Julie and David Clark, married to Scott Said and resides in Versailles, KY.
Becca Faulkner, Embalmer/Funeral Director Intern
Clay City, KY native, Becca Faulkner graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Art. Intrigued by restorative art and the practice of embalming, she decided to continue her education in the field of mortuary science. In 2011 she graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service and is now serving as an Embalmer and Funeral Director Intern at Clark Legacy Center. Truly inspired by the concept of the non-traditional funeral, Becca looks forward to providing a more personalized and unique funeral experience for Central Kentucky families.
Bill Satterly, Funeral Director/Embalmer
A 3rd generation funeral professional, Bill was born in Frankfort, Kentucky and has lived in Lexington since 1972. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. A member of Southland Christian Church, Bill also serves with the Helping Through Him Ministry. He was formerly a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon. Bill is married to Carol Ann Folster Satterly. Funeral service has been Bill's passion for many years, and he looks forward to serving local families at Clark Legacy Center.
Danny W. Owens, Funeral Director/Embalmer
Danny W. Owens, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for 15 years, has been serving families in Versailles for 21 years in the funeral profession. Danny was born in Versailles, KY to his parents, Gene and Faye Owens; he is one of five children, brother, Ronald Owens, and three sisters, Michelle Beatty, Janice Weeks and Linda Flora. He is the husband of Rebecca Owens, and they have four sons, Brandon, Alex, Cameron and Danny Owens II. Danny is a 1994 graduate of Woodford County High School; he is a 1997 graduate of Mid America College of Funeral Service. He is a member of the Midway Church of the Nazarene.
Danny was the Chief Deputy Coroner of Woodford County for 16 years and Volunteer Firefighter for the Versailles Fire and Rescue Department for 10 years. Funeral Service has been Danny's passion for many years and he looks forward to serving local families at the Clark Funeral Home in Versailles and Clark Legacy Center in Lexington/Nicholasville and Frankfort.
Brad Allred CLC
Brad was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, but has called Jessamine County, Kentucky home for twenty-two years. Brad spent most of his life working in the retail industry, managing large department stores. He has also owned and operated several restaurants and worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, Kentucky.
But after stepping away from work to care for his aging father in 2001, who has since passed, Brad has been serving the people of Jessamine County and Central Kentucky. He has been ordained as a minister of the Christian Church, served on staff at Southland Christian Church, been the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity in Jessamine County, current President of Bluegrass IronMen, and a valuable part of our staff here at Clark Legacy Center.
Brad and his wife Pat are blessed with five grown children, fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grand children.
Reverand Bill McDonald
Bill McDonald is a retired minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) after having served in active ministry for 42 years.
Raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Bill is a graduate of Transylvania University and Lexington Theological Seminary both in Lexington, Kentucky.
Bill served as Senior Minister of churches in Midway, Kentucky, Austin, Texas, Shreveport, Louisiana and served Crestwood Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky from 1995-2008. He is a member of the Board of Trustees at Lexington Theological Seminary, the Board of the World Convention of Churches of Christ, and is a Disciples of Christ representative on the national Stone-Campbell Dialogue.
Bill helped found and served with Habitat For Humanity affiliates in Kentucky, Texas, and Louisiana. He has also been a campus minister, volunteer firefighter, police chaplain, and college instructor.
Bill and his wife, Julie, have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Tom Drury
Tom joins us after 49 years in the trucking industry in sales and management. He started out with Ecklar-Moore Express which became OK Trucking, then Consolidated Freightways , Middlewest Freightway, Dasher Express & Air Freight and retiring from Con-way Freight.
He also served the following churches in Central Kentucky as part time music director. South Elkhorn Baptist Church, Nicholasville Baptist Church, Southern Heights Baptist Church, retiring after 15 years with Midway Baptist Church.
He is married to Nettie (Miller) Drury and they have two children, Kim (Arnie) Combs, Michael (Letha) Drury and one grandson Ryan Thomas Drubin.
Tom and Nettie live in Versailles KY and are members of the Versailles Baptist Church.
Nickie Shryock
Nickie Shryock resides at 1160 Stourbridge Road. He is a graduate of Woodford County High School and served five years in the U.S. Army, including 13 months in Vietnam. Shryock retired from the Versailles Police Department in 1999 after 18 years of service, including six years as the Versailles Police Judge. He then served as Security Coordinator for the Woodford County Board of Education for 5 years.
Nickie and his wife, the former Lisa Roberts, have one child, Justin. He also has a son, Patrick Shryock, who is a deputy with the Woodford County Sheriff Department and is married to the former Mary R. Faust of Versailles.
He has served as Post Commander for the American Legion and Director of the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce. For the past 14 years he has served as a member of the Versailles City Council.
Stacey Mullins Cassidy, Funeral Director/Embalmer
Stacey was born in Lexington, KY, grew up in
Nicholasville, KY, and now resides in Georgetown, KY. She is a 1993 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a
bachelor's degree in communication. In 1999, she graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service and is now serving
as a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Clark Legacy Center. Before coming to Clark Legacy Center, Stacey worked for a
casket company for six years.
Stacey is married to Jeff Cassidy of Mount Sterling, KY. Her parents are Bill and Nancy Mullins of Nicholasville. She has an older sister, Arminta (Brenda) Mullins of Stanford, KY; a twin sister, Tracy (Bill) Wright of Lancaster, KY; and three nieces and two nephews, Meredith, Malcolm, Olivia, Alex, and Sydney.
Kathy Wilhoit Miller, Office Manager for Versailles, KY Office
I was born in Versailles and I am the daughter of Tony and Betty
Wilhoit. I graduated from Woodford County High School and went on to the University of Kentucky where I graduated with a
degree in Elementary Education. I taught school in Woodford County for 12 years until I decided to take some time off to
travel and spend time with my family. Once I decided to go back to work, I was excited about being given the opportunity
to work at Clark Funeral Home with the Clark family, who I have known all my life.
I am married to Jeff Miller. We have 4 sons and 1 grandson. We live in Woodford County.
James "Jimmy" Chism
I have lived in Versailles since 1976. My dad and I opened a Convenient Food Mart in July
1976. I married Rhonda Routt in 1983. She has lived in Versailles all her life. We have two sons, Drew and Daniel. I have a daughter, Lori, 3 grandchildren,
Laken, Sean, and Emily, and a great-granddaughter, Klarrisa. I have been a member at Woodford Community Christian Church for over 30 years. I am retired
from Motion Industries since January, 2013 and am enjoying retirement.
