A Mother's Love

In her special words of comfort,
her warming smiles of cheer,
in the pleasure she can always give you
just by being near,
in her helpfulness that shows you
she's behind you all the way . . .
a mother says,

In the patient way she listens,
in the gentle way she's strong,
in her willingness to stand beside you,
always, right or wrong,
in the thoughtfulness and caring
that her tender looks convey . . .

Going Home

I must bid you farewell for a little while.
I'm on the Glory Train in the last mile.
My work on this earth is done
And the Kingdom of God is at hand.
I'm on my way to the Glory Land.
Please don't grieve for me and cry.
Just live for Jesus and you shall
join me by and by.
