Maureen O'Boyle Townson

November 22, 1933 - December 20, 2009

Maureen O’Boyle Townson, 76, of Nicholasville, Kentucky and the widow of Alex Townson, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 after a short illness. She was born November 22, 1933 in Brooke County, West Virginia to the late James and Mary Helen Clay O’Boyle. She was one of 13 children.

Maureen was a Volunteer Senior Companion at the Jessamine County Senior Citizen Center and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Surviving her are sisters, Betty Johns, Nicholasville, Colleen White, TN, Kitty Munn, MI; one brother, Dennis O’Boyle, IL; and many nieces and nephews throughout the United States.

Maureen did not have any children of her own but was a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be 10:00 am, December 28, 2009 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Dan Barnes officiating.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
