Norman P. Ross

December 24, 1922 - February 13, 2010

Norman P. Ross, 87, beloved father and grandfather, died Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Lexington, KY. He was born December 24, 1922 in New Orleans, son of the late Warren L. and Hulda Seider Ross.

Norman was a retired traffic engineer for Washington, D.C., a WWII Veteran, an epic world traveler and a very generous man who loved to give to numerous charities. He also loved music, especially “The Standards.”

He is survived by his son, Alan Ross and daughter-in-law Penny Ross, Lexington, KY; and his granddaughter, Micaela Ross.

A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date.

Donations can be made in honor of Norman’s life and legacy to Shriners Hospital for Children, the American Red Cross and/or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
