Obituary

Vivia G. Kindig, 64, of Versailles, wife of Robert R. Kindig, died Friday, February 26, 2010. She was a Registered Nurse employed by Caretenders, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Versailles KY. She was preceded in death by her father, Forest Gilpin.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Gilpin, Hodgenville, KY; two brothers, George (Patty) Gilpin, Nicholasville, KY, Tom (Toni) Gilpin, Whitesburg, GA, one sister, Patty (Jimmy) Edwards, Hodgenville, KY, her children, Donna (Trent) Snyder, Nicholasville, KY, Troy Lewis, Lexington, KY and Cheryl (Shannon) Estes, Lexington, KY; four grandsons, Chandler Snyder, Dwayne, Trey and Tucker Lewis, two granddaughters, Caroline Snyder and Ashley Lewis; two nieces and three nephews and her first great-granddaughter, Waverly Elizabeth Snyder, who is due March 4th.

Following a family graveside service, a Gathering of Family and Friends will be Monday, from 5 until 7 pm, with a Memorial Service at 7pm, at New Hope Baptist Church, Versailles KY. Donations in lieu of flowers are suggested to New Hope Baptist Church, 3825 Tyrone Pike, Versailles KY, 40383.
