Virgil D. Woolums, 90, of Georgetown, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012. He was born in Versailles on October 15, 1921 to the late Thomas Henry and Nola Bell Shelton Woolums. He was a retired truck driver and member of Royal Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ollie Parr Woolums, of Georgetown; four daughters, Mary Joyce (Jim) Flynt, of Lexington, Brenda Gail (Farris) Gandy, of Frankfort, Sandra Jean (Johnnie) Clark, of Georgetown, and Susan K. (Danny) Dehner, of Florence; three sons, Marvin David (Lena) Woolums, of Sadieville, Michael Wayne (Dawn) Woolums, of Florida, and Jeffrey Lee (Agnes) Woolums, of Stamping Ground; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and his brother, Freddie Woolums, of Lawrenceburg.

Private services are planned. Clark Legacy Center, Frankfort, is in charge of arrangements.
