William R. Durkin

William R. Durkin, 87, WWII veteran and retired Optician, passed March 3, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda and sons, William Jr., Robert and Michael. Survivors include a Daughter, Debra Spence; brother, John; sister, Leila Barnes; 9 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild and 2 loving Daughters-in-law.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 11 am - 1 pm at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, followed by the Funeral Service at 1 pm, officiated by Bro. Dave Parks. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Lexington, Kentucky.

Donations Information

In honor of William's life and legacy, donations can be made in his name to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Thompson Road Baptist Church.
