Obituary

Priscilla Faye Hamlin, loving wife, mother, Nana, and loyal friend, joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday May 1, 2010 after a long courageous fight with Multiple Myeloma. Faye returned from her last treatments in Arkansas to be with family and friends in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Joni and Paul Stafford in Lexington. She was surrounded by her adoring husband and loving family as she peacefully passed.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Joni (Paul) Stafford and Theresa ( Kenneth) Hughes, both of Lexington; one son, Larry (Barbara) Orme, London; three sisters, Lois (Jimmie) Greene, Honeybee; Betty (Sid) Haley and Patty (Lowell) Wyatt, both of Louisville; one brother, Jim (Shiela) Renfro, Georgia; 7 grandchildren, Sean, Christopher and Leah Stafford; and Lauren, Rick, Dale and Austin Orme.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Imogene Renfro; and her brother, Warren Renfro.

Funeral Information

A Celebration of Life service will take place 3 pm, Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. Visitation will follow until 6:00 pm.

In honor of Priscilla's life and legacy, contributions can be made in her name to Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy and/or Hopsice of the Bluegrass.
