Obituary for Elizabeth Ann Miller Johnson

Elizabeth Ann Miller Johnson, 87, widow of Don Johnson, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. She was born on November 5, 1931 in Salem, IN to the late Charlie and Della Brown Miller. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family adored and loved her beyond measure.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Laney) Akers, Lawrenceburg; her son, Phil (Connie) Johnson, Frankfort; her sisters, Audrey Miller, IN, and Garnet Dempster, IN; her grandchildren, Monica (Glenn) Pinkston, Jessica (Jesse) Lester, Roxayn (Keenan) Bridgewater, Micah Akers, Forrest Johnson, and Rebekah Akers; her great grandchildren, Seth Akers, Andrew (Peri) Hurst, Jared Pinkston, Avery Hurst, Mariyah Johnson, Elissa Akers, Kayli Bridgewater, Ethan Johnson, Micah Akers II, Evan Johnson, and Abel Akers; and her great great grandchildren, Silas, Ayden, Kristopher, Shaylynn, Sawyer, Colton and Xavier.
In addition to her husband of 66 years, she was preceded in death by her son, Howard Johnson; her sisters, Wilma Ingram, and Mary Adams; her brothers, Kelso Miller, and Howard Miller; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Akers and Clinton Johnson.
Elizabeth was the proud owner of the Paul Sawyier Art Gallery for over 30 years, where she made many friends with the artists and her customers. She and her husband enjoyed years of boating on the Kentucky River, traveling with family, and cruise vacations.
