Obituary for George Richard Baker

George R. Baker, known to his friends and family as "Dick" entered into rest peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019 after a long struggle with multiple medical issues.

He grew up in Somerset, Kentucky. Later, graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Master's Degree in music.

Dick will be remembered as a noted musician and entertainer. His career included teaching, editor and publisher of "Women's News" magazine, traveling with Senior Adult Tours, horse show organist, and owner of Dick Baker Music World.

He leaves behind family and friends who miss him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:30AM Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow from 12:00PM until 1:30PM.
