Obituary for Beverly Joan McCarty

Beverly Joan McCarty, 79, widow of Thomas McCarty died on Wed. June 20, 2019 in Lexington, KY. She was born on June 24,1939 in Robertson County, KY to the late Clifton and Rhoda Fryman. Beverly was a member of Disciples of Christ in East Union, KY and Oakland Mills Methodist Church in Ellisville, KY. She was a KY Colonel, Eastern Star and Ham radio operator. She is survived by two sons, Steven McCarty (Diana Daugherty) , Springfield, KY and James D. McCarty (Eddie Walters), Lexington, KY; one daughter, Pamela McCarty (Mark Hobbs), Carlisle, KY; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Janine “Doll” Norton, OH and Carolyn (Malcom) Faye Cox, Carlisle, KY; one brother, Myron (Shelby) Fryman, VA. Visitation will be 11am - 1pm Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon followed by a funeral service at 1pm. Burial to follow at The Crown Hill Cemetery in Sharpsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be Steven McCarty, James McCarty, Eddie Walters, Chris McCarty, Mark Hobbs and Chad Dyers. Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
