Obituary of Nancy Leanne Kearney Carpenter

Nancy Leanne Carpenter passed away on Wednesday. March 20th at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. 

Born February 28th, 1965 to Buddy and Dorris Kearney, she was a 1983 Franklin County High School graduate. Everyone knew her by Leanne and you would never see her without a smile on her face. She was the true meaning of a kind and selfless soul. 

Survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Carpenter, three daughters, Ashley (John) Hellard, Amanda (Bobby) Ridgeway, and Tiffany (Jamie) Hardin. Her 5 grandsons; Timothy, Jordan, Waylon, Mason, and Charles and two granddaughters McKenzie and Stella. Her fur babies held her heart Harley and “little brother” Cotton. 

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Monday March 25, 2024 at Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort.  Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm lead by Pastor Steve Rose, burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
